"I did the cooking class “A day in the life of a Balinese woman”. I was spoilt as I was the only person in the class. The chef Dawe and I went to the markets on a motorbike. He showed me a number of different homemade sweets, produce and ceremonial items. Back at the restaurant we prepared and cooked 6 different dishes. I’m glad I chose to take the class. I would highly recommend it."

"We visited this restaurant for lunch one afternoon and there was literally no one else there. What a shame. The restaurant is so beautiful. Then it has such great view of the paddy field. They even have the bathroom with a view. The staff is so very nice. And the food is great. We even loved their menu. They have a whole asli Bali (real Bali) theme going on and they have taken it very seriously. Since I am vegetarian, they made all the balinese dishes vegetarian for me. It was so very kind of them. While you are waiting for the food, they serve you rice flour chips with such tasty chutney, you would just want to eat those and nothing else."

"The restaurant is located in the east of Bali Island. In the Karangasem area. It is located in a very picturesque place, in the middle of the jungle, with a stunning view of the mountains. P.S. The mountains will be visible if there are no clouds. All the furniture, decor, and interior design are made in a Balinese style, which is very authentic and beautiful. A special feature of this restaurant is the toilet. The toilet itself offers a stunning view of the mountains The restaurant's menu is designed in an unusual style. It's nice to have a lot of style in the little things. Food . Balinese restaurant. I really enjoyed everything I ordered. Beautiful presentation. The staff is very kind, friendly, and helpful. I recommend this restaurant if you want to try local Balinese cuisine. You will also enjoy the stunning views of the mountains (volcano) and the atmosphere, style, and local lifestyle."

"We stopped here to refresh ourselves and relax on our way to a new location. We haven't tasted the food. But their homemade signature drinks are something amazing!!! Be sure to try their homemade fruit beer, cider lovers! We liked the taste of snake fruit the most and we took a few bottles for takeaway."

"One of the best restaurants of Bali !! Traditional Balinese cooking with deep flavours and amazing drinks also. The place is just beautiful, with a stunning view on Mont Agung. So relaxing. We’ve been there at least 5 times and always come back when we are in the area. Great value for money also as the prices are super fair for this level of quality !"

"what a great experience! We found this restaurant by chance while visiting Tirta Gangga. The target group of this place is certainly not Indonesians, however it did not disappoint in terms of taste. It was simple enough to enjoy and not overly made to the point it was pretentious. Not something I would frequent, but it was a great place to bring overseas guests and introduce them to Balinese cuisine. Staffs were very friendly and the owner herself was present to serve some of the dishes, which I found was a nice little touch of detail."
